Today is a day, federally recognized, to remember all of the brave souls who made the ultimate sacrifice to afford you and I the opportunity to enjoy the freedoms we have today.
Initially known as 'Decoration Day,' the United States Congress, in 1971, standardized what we now call 'Memorial Day' as a federal holiday.
'Memorial Day' has been marked on the final Monday of May ever since, as we do not forget those to were killed in combat serving the United States Military. The 'Bloomdaddy Show' can not be more thankful for those who made the ultimate sacrifice for the United States of America. WATCH VIDEO.
