Wisconsin and Michigan met on the hardwood Sunday afternoon at the Kohl Center, a game the Badgers won 77-63 but the story of the game came following the clock striking zero.
Both teams were making their way through the hand-shake line when Wolverines coach Juwan Howard had some harsh words for Badger coach Greg Gard.
Howard was upset that Gard called timeout with 15 seconds left when Wisconsin could not break Michigan's press, a timeout Howard did not think was necessary.
Some of Howard's assistants and players tried to de-escalate the heated exchange when Howard swung at and struck Wisconsin assistant coach Joe Krabbenhoft in the face.
Players from both squads then starting throwing punches before calm was ultimately restored. WATCH VIDEO!
