A Georgia State official pretended to be pregnant to take paid maternity leave. Robin Folsom went the whole nine yards, faking a baby bump and sending fake photos of her "newborn" to her colleagues.
Investigators say Folsom was exposed after the Vocational Rehabilitation Agency staff saw her fake pregnancy stomach "come away" from her body and noticed her baby photos featured children with "varying skin tones."
Folsom was on a $100,000 a year salary when she made up a fake father named Bran Otmembebwe for her plan to swindle $15,000 in paid leave.
A Fulton County grand jury has now indicted her with three counts of making false statements and one count of identity fraud. A court date has not been set.
