On his reaction when learning he was being traded to Cleveland:

“I was excited. The biggest thing was just getting everything together to leave the fam. Other than that, I was excited. Can’t wait to get here and get started.”

On if he was aware of the trade before Sunday night:

“No, I did not.”

On how close he is to being activated to 53-man roster after being designated to return to practice from injured reserve:

“Today will be my first day of practice, and we will see from there.”

On his recovery process for the shoulder injury and surgery:

“It has been good. It has been a process of getting healthy, just like any injury. I feel good. I am glad I went and got it done. Like I said, I can’t wait to get back to work.”

On if it has been frustrating not being able to play yet this season:

“Of course. Everybody wants to play, but I was still preparing in case anything happens. I might get thrown out there or I might have to come to Cleveland. Just staying prepared and staying dangerous, and we will see where this takes us.”
