On the team’s confidence in QB Jacoby Brissett:

“We are very confident. Jacoby is a seasoned vet. He has been in the league a long time. He has made amazing plays. He has played well wherever he has been. There is no doubt in our minds that he [will] be able to get the job done for us.”

On if there is a sense of relief now having clarity that QB Deshaun Watson will be suspended the first 11 games, given the uncertainty of the situation prior to yesterday:

“We take it day by day. At least we know now what we are working with, but it does not really change much for us. No matter what happens, we are ready to play.”

On the first joint practice with the Eagles yesterday:

“I think it was good. I think our offense showed some signs of explosiveness. I think we did a lot of great things well, but also, there are always things to work on. Overall, I think it was a pretty good day.”

On biggest takeaways from yesterday’s joint practice with the Eagles that can be applied today:

“You have to bring the same energy all of the time. We had a pretty good day yesterday. Things could go anyway today so we have to go out there and have the same mindset and just attack.”

On if anything about Brissett has surprised him on or off the field since joining the Browns:

“He is a funny guy. He is fun to be around. He is always so serious, but it is in a fun, facetious way. He is a great guy to be around.”
