A woman charged in the killing of a man inside Cuyahoga Valley National Park is pleading guilty.
Investigators say that Chelsea Perkins came to Ohio to meet the victim, Matthew Dunmire, and shot him in the park.
His body was found in March 2021. Investigators used GPS data, DNA, social media, and telephone records to connect Perkins to the crime.
The defendant pleaded guilty in federal court yesterday to charges including murder in the second degree.
She will be sentenced later this year.
