James Bond novels are being edited to remove offensive material.

New editions of the classic Bond novels are expected to hit shelves this spring with racially insensitive language removed.

A report in “The Sunday Telegraph” claims that Fleming's estate worked with "sensitivity readers" to flag and remove what they see as language that reflects outdated attitudes about race.

Among the changes, besides removing the race identification of several characters, is toned-down sex scenes.
