Two emperor tamarin monkeys have been found safe after they turned up missing from the Dallas zoo.
Authorities followed a tip to an abandoned house south of Dallas yesterday where they found the monkeys inside a closet.
The animals have been returned to the zoo and will be evaluated by staff.
The development comes just hours after Dallas PD asked the public for help identifying a person who may be involved with the missing animals.
The photo they put out shows a man in a dark blue hoodie walking around eating Doritos.
Their disappearance was the latest in a line of suspicious incidents at the zoo. In the last few weeks, a clouded leopard escaped an enclosure, an endangered vulture turned up dead, and a different monkey habitat was also tampered with.
