Body Found in a West 26th Street Home Identified and Charges Filed

PARMA - Parma Police Department confirms that a body was located inside a home in the 5200 block of W. 26th St.

On Wednesday, November 16, Officers were called to the house for a domestic violence complaint at the same address that morning. A man was arrested, and the victim, a woman, was transported to UH Parma. A family member went to the house to remove guns for safekeeping. 

While in the home, that family member located a dead person wrapped in plastic in the basement. He immediately called the police to report that he found a body in the basement. 

Parma Police Crime Scene Investigators and detectives responded and processed the scene. The Cuyahoga County Medical Examiner’s Office later responded and claimed the body.

The medical examiner’s office has confirmed the deceased male’s identity as Ryan Alan Krebs.

30-year-old Ryan Krebs was reported missing to the Parma Police Department on August 25, 2022.  

Krebs had been shot multiple times.

40-Year-Old Paul Addicott II has been arrested and charged with the murder of Ryan Krebs. His bond was set at $1,000,000 cash/surety.  

No additional details have been released. This is an ongoing case under investigation.
