Gormley’s Pub Offers Shot To Sample $45K Midleton Whiskey For Malachi House

ROCKY RIVER, OH - For the second year in a row, Gormley’s Pub in Rocky River is hosting a fundraiser for Malachi House which will give people the chance to enjoy and sample a $45,000 bottle of Midleton Whiskey, one the world’s best and rarest Irish Whiskey.

The fundraiser is in conjunction with The Festival of Midleton Whiskeys, a two-day celebration being held at the Clifton Club in Lakewood. On Monday, December 5th, a never-before assembled lineup of several of the finest Midleton whiskeys will be sampled in a special event hosted by Kevin O’Gorman, their Master Distiller and Barry Chandler, host of Stories and Sips.  On Tuesday, December 6th, a bottle of Midleton Very Rare Silent Distillery Chapter 3 will be opened and enjoyed by a select group of 20 participants.

Raffle tickets are on sale now for a chance to win the grand prize, admission to both nights of the 2022 Midleton Festival of Whiskeys being held on December 5th and 6th. There are only a total of 200 tickets being sold for $100 each and two lucky winners will be chosen at random to win admission, a prize valued at $3,500.

Malachi House was founded n 1998 through a pioneering effort to preserve human dignity for individuals. The inspiration came from the ministry of Father Paul Hritz and the St. Malachi parishioners who often encountered the homeless. Since their inception, Malachi House has helped more than 2,500 residents and served nearly 500,000 meals. Last year, Gormley’s Pub via the 2021 Middleton Festival of Whiskeys raised approximately $50,000 for Malachi House.
