Lake Mead's Water Level Continues To Drop & More Human Remains Found

Less than a week after authorities found a dead body that had been stuffed into a barrel, the declining water level of Nevada's Lake Mead has revealed more human remains, authorities say.

The most recent discovery occurred Saturday in the reservoir's Callville Bay, according to Las Vegas Metropolitan Police. "No information is available at this time," a police statement reads.

The gruesome discovery occurred less than a week after the first body was found. At the time, Homicide Lieutenant Ray Spencer said, " The lake has drained dramatically over the last 15 years. It's likely that we will find additional bodies that have been dumped in Lake Mead."
