(Cleveland) - The Ohio Department of Transportation says one of their workers was injured after their work vehicle was hit overnight on I-480 near Ridge Road.
ODOT says the worker was patching potholes when the accident happened.
ODOT's Matt Bruning says this is the 77th such accident involving a pothole patching crew or snow plow crew in 2022. Bruning says they're easily on pace to shatter last year's total of 154 accidents statewide. He puts much of the blame on distracted driving.
