(OHIO) - State Health Officials are reporting nearly ten-thousand new COVID-19 cases today.
They say the nine-thousand-922 cases reflect part of a backlog, some of them going as far back as March.
That brings the statewide total since the pandemic began to one-million-796-thousand-951.
There were 223 new virus-related fatalities reported today, bringing the death toll in Ohio to 27-thousand-594.
