The Cleveland Indians played their final game ever today. Aaron Civale went to the mound for Cleveland's final game and earned the win after the team shut out the Rangers today 6-0. The only homer came off the bat of Yu Chang in the fifth inning. The rest were from RBIs from Amed Rosario, Bradley Zimmer, and Oscar Mercado.
Toward the end of the game, fans in Texas were chanting "Let's Go Tribe!" It was a very moving moment and will be the last time that the team while still holding the Indians name will ever hear that chanted.
Next year we welcome the Cleveland Guardians to the plate. I am excited to see what the front office and more importantly the team, has in store for us as fans of 'America's Past Time" sport. And one last time... LET'S GO TRIBE!
