KANSAS CITY, MO -- The Royals jumped on Zach Plesac early, with the right hander struggling to get through the early innings. Continuing his MVP-like season, Salavador Perez launched his 48th long shot of the year to put the Royals ahead in the first. Cleveland rallied back from a 4-run deficit to tie the game at 5 runs each, before falling apart in the late innings. Kansas City's Brian Dozier ripped a go-ahead 2-run triple in the 7th, before the Royals went on to win by the final score of 10-5.

Royals backstop Salvador Perez seems to have the Cleveland rotation figured out, going yard in back-to-back games. Hanser Alberto and Cam Gallagher each chipped in an RBI in the 8th to blow the game wide open.

The Cleveland Indians and Kansas City Royals will battle in the final game of the 3-game series on Thursday evening. First pitch is set for 8:10 pm ET at Kauffman Stadium in Kansas City, Missouri.
