Royals Bounce Back Against Tribe 6-4

KANSAS CITY, MO -- The Cleveland Indians jumped out to a 3-run lead in the top of the first, but the Royals quickly answered with 2 runs of their own in the home half of the opening inning. Kansas City broke open the tie game with 2 runs in the 8th and went on to secure a 6-4 win over the visiting Cleveland Indians.

Nicky Lopez stepped up to the plate with one man on and one man out in a tie game in the 8th, when he slapped a go-ahead RBI triple to the left field corner. Following the triple, Nicky Lopez scored an insurance run on a wild pitch that went between the legs of Roberto Perez.

The Indians and Royals will square off for their second to last match up of the season on Wednesday evening. First pitch is set for 8:10 pm ET at Kauffman Stadium in Kansas City, Missouri.
