Cleveland, OH - On Wednesday, July 21, 2021, Parma police officers responded to an apartment complex on Knollwood Dr. for a report of shots fired and a man down. Upon arrival, officers located and treated a 24-year-old male victim with multiple gunshot wounds. Parma Fire Department personnel arrived on scene and transported the male to Metro Hospital where he was treated for his non-life threatening injuries.

Two males were seen running from the scene to a nearby apartment building in the same complex. Officers were able to identify one of the males on scene as being present during the shooting. That male was initially held for questioning. The second male was still in the apartment building and quickly surrendered after police were able to make contact with him.

That male was arrested and later identified as 20-year-old Eric E. Rosado, of Berea. Rosado is being held at the Parma Jail and has been charged with one count of Attempted Murder, a felony of the first degree. The first male has been released without charges at this time. This case remains under investigation and additional charges will be presented to the Cuyahoga County Grand Jury on a later date.
