HOUSTON, TX -- The Houston Astros and Cleveland Indians battled back and forth in a competitive series finale. Houston scored two runs in the 6th inning to tie things up at 4 runs a piece after falling behind on a 3-run double by Ernie Clement earlier in the game. Cleveland's surprising slugger Cesar Hernandez launched a go-ahead solo blast to straight away center field. James Karinchak shut the door on the Astros in the home half of the 9th, securing a 5-4 win over the Houston Astros.

Cleveland's offense was rolling on Wednesday after struggling in the previous two games. Cesar Hernandez looks as comfortable as ever since being taken out of the lead off spot, chipping in a double to go with his clutch homer.

Despite giving up two long balls, tribe starter Eli Morgan battled his rear end off, Morgan ended the game with a final line of 3 earned runs on 3 hits, striking out 5 without issuing a walk.

The Indians will head home to get ready to host the pesky Tampa Bay Rays in a 4-game series. First pitch on Thursday night is set for 7:10 pm ET at Progressive Field in Cleveland, Ohio. Check out highlights from tonight's game below!
