CLEVELAND, OH -- The Cleveland Indians came into Wednesday's game desperate for a win, after dropping their last 9 games. The tribe were staring at a 2-run deficit in the 8th inning, before Roberto Perez launched a go-ahead 3-run homer to straight away center field. Kansas City answered back in the 9th when former Indian Carlos Santana sent out his second long ball of the game to tie things up at four runs a piece. Royals' manager Mike Matheny chose to walk Jose Ramirez in the 9th to pitch to Franmil Reyes, and the big man made him pay. Reyes blasted a walk-off three-run home run to the bleachers in left center field to secure a 7-4 Indians win over the visiting Royals.

Cleveland stareter Zach Plesac took the hill for the first time since suffering a thumb injury, and looked good out of the gates. Plesac appeared to run out of energy when he surpassed the 50 pitch mark, giving up two solo homers in the 3rd inning. The Cleveland right hander finished the game with a final line of 3 earned runs on 5 hits in 4 full innings of work, striking out 4 while walking a pair.

Following their 7-4 loss to the Indians, the Kansas City Royals have now dropped 13 of their last 16 games. Kansas City and Cleveland will run it back on Friday night. First pitch is set for 7:10 pm ET at Progressive Field in Cleveland, Ohio. Check out highlights from tonight's comeback victory below!
