FBI Wants These Suspects In Numerous Carjackings

(Cleveland) - The FBI is assisting a number of local police agencies in trying to find and arrest the four suspects in a series of at least nine carjackings in Greater Cleveland. One happened in late April, while the rest all took place in the past week.

The carjackings are:

April 28, 3:00 p.m., near West 117th and Bellaire in Cleveland..

May 12th, 11:30 a.m., a 2013 Honda Civic was stolen in East Cleveland.

May 13th, 1:45 a.m., near Triskett and West 127th, when a suspect pointed a gun in the victim's face, and demanded the vehicle, a black 2020 Toyota. (Various reports have said the victim of this carjacking was Gina DeJesus.)

May 14th, 12:10 a.m. in Willoughby, a vehicle from the robbery at Triskett and West 117th was used in a robbery in which a victim's vehicle was bumped from behind. When the victim got out to check ofr camage, one suspect pointed a gun in the woman's face, while another put the victim in a "bear hug," with all four suspects demanding "we want everything." They took a 2017 Toyota RAV4 and its contents.

May 14th, 11:33 a.m., suspects approached two women getting into their Dodge Durango SUV in the parking lot of the Walmart in Brooklyn. The suspects grabbed one woman by the hair and threw her to the ground, and took the SUV..

May 14th, between 11 p.m. and 12 a.m., a victim's vehicle was stolen in Euclid. A handgun and a long gun inside the Hyundai Sonata with Alabama plates were taken, along with the car.

May 15th, at about 2:25 a.m., a vehicle was stolen in Euclid. The victim resisted the suspect's demands for the vehicle, and was shot in the leg. That victim was in critical condition at last check.

May 15th, 2:37 a.m., a vehicle was stolen in Cleveland Heights. During the theft, an off-duty police officer did not suffer any physical injuries.

May 16th, 2:25 a.m., an attempted carjacking happened in a hotel parking lot in Willoughby. Witnesses heard gunshots. Four black males and one black female with long blonde and brown dreadlocks were seen. All five fled in a grey sedan..

Four of the stolen vehicles were recovered in East Cleveland.

The FBI says the four appear to use a previously stolen vehicle to pull off each subsequent carjacking. Victims have been assaulted by being thrown to the ground, guns pointed in their face. One victim was shot. These people are considered armed and dangerous.

The suspects are four black males in their late teens or early 20s. One is about 6'2" with ear-length twists or dreadlocks. One has a skinny build, about 5'8" with a short, fade hairstyle.
