CLEVELAND--Shane Bieber was okay (by his standards), Tribe hitting was okay. Four Tribe Double Plays, three of them ended the inning, one of them ended a bases loaded jam and the last one ended the game and gave the Tribe their 19th victory with the final score of 3-2.

How about this play to start the game:

Shane Bieber pitched 121 times which is a career-high. Much needed for a bullpen who will be fresh for the getaway Cubs game Wednesday afternoon. With the assistance of the tough defense, the Indians were able to get timely hits and home runs.

Then Cesar Hernandez had the go-ahead homer in the fifth inning and the Tribe held on for the win.

Indians-Cubs return to action Wednesday afternoon. Rookie Sam Hentges (LHP, 1-0) will make his career start for Cleveland. Cubs will start RHP Zach Davies (2-2). Coverage begins at 12:05pm follow by First Pitch 1:10pm on Newsradio WTAM 1100AM/106.9FM and the free iHeartRadio App!
