Wade Miley Throws First Career No-Hitter, Indians Fall to Reds 3-0

CLEVELAND, OH -- Cincinnati starter Wade Miley tossed his first career no-hitter against the Cleveland Indians on Friday night. Cleveland nfound themselves on the wrong end of a no-hitter for the second time in less than four weeks, falling to the visiting Cincinnati Reds by the final score of 3-0.

Wade Miley had an three main pitches working for him against the tribe, throwqing mostly a cut fastball, a four-seam fastball, and a changeup, while mixing in the occasional curveball. Miley had tribe hitters off balance from top to bottom, giving up no hits on 114 pitches, notching his first career no-hitter.

The Indians will look to redeem themselves against the Reds on evening, when they will pit Aaron Civale against Reds starter Luis Castillo. First pitch is set for 6:10 pm ET at Progressive Field in Cleveland, Ohio.
