U.S. Marshals Find Missing Bedford Teen in Cleveland

Cleveland, OH - On April 14, 2021, the U.S. Marshals Service and Bedford Police Department recovered a missing 13-year-old on Evangeline Rd near St. Clair Ave. in Cleveland.

The teen was reported missing to Bedford Police Department on December 21, 2020 with whereabouts being unknown until today. The teen was recovered and turned over safely to the Bedford Police and the Department of Child and Family Services.

Two adults were identified and detained during the recovery but eventually released pending further investigation. Finding and locating critically missing children is a primary investigative mission for the USMS and the Cleveland USMS Missing Child Unit.

The U.S. Marshal Pete Elliott stated, “Assisting our local law enforcement partners with such a critical mission is something we take very seriously. Protecting our communities young is a top priority. Today we are very proud of the work done by our Missing Child Unit and local law enforcement partners.”
