CLEVELAND, OH -- The Indians continue to win games by way of the long ball, and Friday's match up against the Tigers was no different. Tribe slugger Franmil Reyes got the tribe on board early with a 2-run blast to the bleachers in left field in the first, and later sent out his second blast of the game with a solo shot that was measured at 446 ft to center field. Behind a stellar performance from Zach Plesac, the Indians rolled to a 4-1 victory over the visiting Detroit Tigers.

Cleveland start Zach Plesac was nothing short of spectacular in his second start of the young season. The young right hander gave up no runs on 3 singles in 7 full innings of work, striking out 6 batters and throwing no walks. Bryan Shaw gave up the lone run for the tribe on a solo shot off the bat of Wilson Ramos. Cleveland flamethrower Emmanuel Clase continued his dominance out of the pen, shutting the door on the Tigers in the 8th and 9th innings to secure his second career save.

The tribe move to a 3-3 record on the year following their win in the series opener against Detroit. The Tigers and Indians will square off once again on Saturday evening, first pitch set for 6:10 pm ET at Progressive Field in Cleveland, Ohio. Aaron Civale will get the nod for the tribe, facing off against Tarik Skubal. Check out highlights from tonight's game below!
