(Cleveland) - If you're looking for a way to get to a polling place on Election Day, you can ride the bus for free.
Greater Cleveland Regional Transit Authority (RTA) will offer free rides on all buses, Rapid trains, and Paratransit on Tuesday, November 3. It's possible thanks to a $75,000 grant from the Cleveland Foundation.
RTA joins transit systems in many other Ohio cities, including Akron, Columbus, Cincinnati, Toledo, and Dayton, in offering free transit rides on Election Day.
RTA recommends that Paratransit riders schedule their rides well in advance of November 3 per the regular scheduling process.
