(Canton Township) - The Ohio State Highway Patrol is investigating the crash of a car into a house Sunday night.
The OSP says that the car crashed into the house along State Route 800 near 37th Street in Canton Township. The driver, 38-year-old Jessica Shaw, of Mineral City, was northbound on Route 800 in a Hyundai Santa Fe SUV, driving at a high rate of speed, when she went off the road, and airborne into the house.
A 17-year-old boy in the house was taken to the hospital. The OSP says his injuries are not life-threatening.Shaw was not injured.
Drugs were found in Shaw's SUV, and the OSP says they appear to be a factor in the crash.
