CLEVELAND, OH -- The Cleveland Indians were down 4-1 to the White Sox with two outs in the bottom of the 7th inning, when the magic began. Cesar Hernandez started the rally with a 2-RBI line drive single to right field, scoring Naquin and Freeman. The Indians hero and American League MVP Candidate Jose Ramirez ripped a two run, go-ahead double to give the tribe the lead. Cleveland's bullpen did their job as the tribe took down the White Sox by the final score of 5-4 to sweep the four-game series.

Yolmer Sanchez got the Pale Hose on the board with a solo shot in the third inning off of Zach Plesac. With the game tied up at 1 in the 7th inning, Yasmani Grandal turned on a hard hit grounder that deflected off the mit of Santana, and rolled into foul territory, scoring Moncada. Chicago slugger Nomar Mazara broke the game open with a 2-RBI single to left field.

The usually dependable bullpen of the Chicago White Sox imploded in the 7th inning, instantly giving up their three run lead. Chicago right hander Jimmy Cordero led the implosion with 3 earned runs in .2 innings of work. Former starter turned reliever Carlos Rodon gave up 1 earned run.

Zach Plesac tossed 6.2 innings giving up 4 earned runs while striking out 7. Indians reliever Cam Hill earned his 2nd win of the season, throwing 1.1 innings of scoreless baseball. Brad Hand earned his league leading 15th save of the year in what was likely his last appearance before the playoffs.

The Cleveland Indians are now one game behind the White Sox and two games out of first place with three games remaining in the regular season. Cleveland will host the Pittsburgh Pirates in a three-game series to finish off a strange 2020 MLB Regular Season. Fridays matchup will pit Indians starter Carlos Carrasco against Pittsburgh's Mitch Keller. First pitch is set for 7:10 pm ET at Progressive Field in Cleveland, Ohio.
