MINNEAPOLIS, MN -- The Cleveland Indians had a rough time in their weekend series against the Minnesota Twins. The long ball was the difference between the two ball clubs on Sunday afternoon, as Minnesota launched four homers on their way to a 7-5 win, sealing the weekend sweep.

After the Twins offense struggled to start the season, they heated up at the right time. Minnesota took the Indians rotation deep an alarming 11 times during the weekend series. Nelson Cruz launched yet another home run, tying him for the MLB lead with 16.

The Twins won seven of their ten games against the divisional rival Indians in the 2020 season, and in-turn have a 3.5 game lead on the tribe for second place in the American League Central, trailing the first place Chicago White Sox.

Cleveland will look to get off the schneid as they will head to Chicago to continue their 9-game road trip. First pitch on Monday afternoon is set for 8:15 pm ET at historic Wrigley Field in Chicago, Illinois.
