Akron - Akron-based Goodyear is responding to President Donald Trump's tweets calling for a boycott of their tires.
The company says they don't allow any clothing with political affiliation at work, no matter what party they belong to.
Goodyear became the center of an online firestorm Tuesday, after an alleged employee tweeted a photo depicting diversity training that said Make America Great Again hats weren't allowed, but other forms of expression were at work.
President Donald Trump called for a boycott of the company after seeing the photo. Goodyear says the slide in question was never used.
