Bay Village Police Blotter: Shirtless Arguments

On July 26th, at 6:20pm, Bay Village Police were dispatched to the 300 block of Bay View Road on report of an argument. Officers arrived and found a shirtless intoxicated male (homeowner) who appeared to have had been in a physical altercation.

Officers spoke with another intoxicated male inside the home who was also involved in the altercation. After an investigation, a third intoxicated male was found hiding in a neighbor’s backyard a couple houses away.

All three were arrested for Disorderly Conduct – Intoxication and transported back to the Bay Village Police Department. None were forthcoming about the reason for the original altercation. Each is facing charges in Rocky River Municipal Court.

On July 29th, at 1:41am, Bay Village Police stopped a vehicle on Lake Forest Drive, south of Wolf Road, for a moving traffic violation.

Officers spoke with the female operator, a 34 year-old Lorain resident, who appeared to be under the influence of alcohol. The operator failed field sobriety tests and was placed under arrest. Officers also spoke with the female passenger, a 20 year old Lorain resident, who was in possession of marijuana. Both females were placed under arrest and transported back to the Bay Village Police Department.

On station, the operator submitted to a breath test which showed a .185 blood alcohol content. Both were later released to a sober party and are facing charges in Rocky River Municipal Court.
