Jewish-Owned Businesses In University Heights Hit By Graffiti

(University Heights) - Police are investigating offensive graffiti painted on buildings - mostly Jewish-owned businesses - that was discovered Sunday morning.

The graffiti was mostly near the corner of South Green Road and Cedar Road. It included a swastika, the number 666, the devil with a pitchfork, the phrase "party with the devil," and the phrase "f*** police."

Businesses that were tagged include a Jewish learning center, a wig shop, and an accounting firm. A tailor shop, and the nearby Heinen's were also tagged.

University Heights Police say this could be considered a hate crime.
