Big League Teams Close Facilities Over Coronavirus Concerns

The Toronto Blue Jays and Philadelphia Phillies have shut down their spring training facilities in Florida.

The Phillies closed their facility in Clearwater after five players and three staff members tested positive for COVID-19.

The Blue Jays shut down their facility after an unnamed player exhibited coronavirus symptoms.

The Phillies declined to comment on the ramifications the positive tests will have on a potential season.
