(Cleveland) - Cuyahoga County Courts will continue reduced operations as the pandemic continues.
An order from Court of Common Pleas Presiding Judge Brendan Sheehan has issued a new order saying that until June 1, there will be no jury trials, and that most in-person court hearings have been postponed as well.
Five judges will be available each weekday to hold hearings. The county has 34 Common Pleas Court judges.
Judge Sheehan is asking his fellow judges to hold conferences either by video, or telephone.
All people entering the Court Tower at the Justice Center will have to wear a face covering.
