MetroHealth’s Doc2Go Service Now Available To the General Public

Cleveland - MetroHealth’s Doc2Go telehealth service, which connects patients with 24/7 urgent care via the convenience of phone or video visits, is now being offered to the general public.

Affordable six-month membership options are available for individuals, couples and families, regardless of one’s insurance status.

Doc2Go offers on-demand virtual visits with medical providers who can diagnose, treat and prescribe medication for non-emergency conditions such as the flu; sore throat; ear, eye and sinus infections; bronchitis; allergies; urinary tract infections; and more. Through the website or mobile app, patients can access a phone or video visit with a physician who is licensed in their state. If medically necessary, Doc2Go can send a prescription to a patient’s pharmacy of choice.

Depending on your insurance, the cost of a six-month Doc2Go membership may be more affordable than a single visit to the emergency department.

“Now, more than ever, it’s important for people to have access to quality care when they need it,” said Nabil Chehade, MD, Senior Vice President and Chief Population Health Officer at MetroHealth. “Doc2Go is available any time, day or night, to help address urgent care needs from the convenience of wherever you may be.”

MetroHealth launched Doc2Go in 2019 for its employees, their spouses and children at least 2 years of age and older, who are enrolled in MetroHealth’s medical plans.

Individual Doc2Go memberships for the general public start at $70.

A two-person membership is $127. A family membership, which includes up to five people, is $178. Additional family members will incur an additional $30 per six-month membership. You must be at least 2 years of age to be seen by a doctor on Doc2Go.

Each type of six-month membership includes a one-time $10 membership fee. There is a $10 co-pay per visit.
