-The Indians feel like Tyler Naquin is doing great recovering from his ACL injury. His next step will be going back to Texas to have the doctor that performed the surgery to look at his knee. This most likely will come either in late March or early April.

-After conversations began at the beginning of spring training between SS Francisco Lindor and the team it was reported on Monday by Lindor that contract talks have been suspended for now. In conversations with Lindor he still stands by wanting to win and stay in Cleveland, but at this point he feels like it’s time to move towards winning in 2020.

-The team made its first cuts of the spring Monday morning as, the club optioned LHP SAM HENTGES, RHP TRISTON McKENZIE and RHP JEAN CARLOS MEJÍA to Double-A Akron.

-Mike Clevinger threw a bullpen on Monday and threw about 25 pitches. He reported no problems with his surgically repaired knee after the session. He will get treatment on Tuesday then throw another pen on Wednesday. If you watched the session you’d think Clevinger was ready to go as he threw hard with a tempo that was almost mid-season like.

-Tuesday marks the only off day of the spring for the ball club. Manager Terry Francona believes its coming at the perfect time.

-The Tribe rallied back from multiple deficits to take down the Giants, 11-7, at Goodyear Ballpark on Monday afternoon. The Giants jumped out to an early 2-0 lead before the Indians got on the board with a 3-run 5th inning thanks to a RBI-double by CF BRADLEY ZIMMER (2-for-3, 2B, RBI, R), a sac-fly from RF GREG ALLEN (0-for-1, RBI, R) and a RBI-double from SS FRANCISCO LINDOR (1-for-3, 2B, RBI).

In the 8th, Cleveland tied the game at 7 runs apiece on RBI-doubles from C GILJEGILJAW KUNGKUAN (1-for-2, 2B, RBI, R) and LF TRENTON BROOKS (1-for-1, 2B, RBI, R) before Krieger put the exclamation mark on the game with his first home run of the spring.

RHP AARON CIVALE (3.0IP, 1H, HR, R/ER, BB, 6SO) made his second start of the spring working 3.0 innings of one-run ball while striking out 6 of the 11 batters he faced. LHP BRAD HAND (1.0IP, 1H, BB, SO) and LHP KYLE NELSON (1.0IP, 1H, 2SO) both turned in scoreless innings of work.

-The Indians defeated the Los Angeles Angels, 11-10, in Tempe Diablo Stadium. RF FRANMIL REYES continues to terrorize the Cactus League, connecting for his fourth and fifth home runs while driving in four, upping his spring average to .444 (12-for-27) with nine extra-base hits and 11 RBI.SS YU CHANG knocked out a pair of hits, including a two-run homer in the fifth inning.DANIEL JOHNSON came off the bench to relieve Reyes in RF and also recorded his first hits of the spring

-The Indians have a scheduled off day on Tuesday before returning to Goodyear Ballpark on Wednesday to take on the Kansas City Royals. First pitch is scheduled for 1:05PM AZ/4:05PM ET and will showcase scheduled Opening Day starter for the Tribe RHP SHANE BIEBER (1-0, 0.00) taking on RHP Brady Singer (0-0, 4.76) of the Royals.
