Franmil Reyes Goes Yard, Indians Fall to White Sox 8-3

GLENDALE, AZ -- The Cleveland Indians jumped out to a quick two-run lead in the second inning on a Franmil Reyes moon shot to right center field, his second homer of the spring. The Pale Hose out played the tribe in the later innings, jumping out to a lead on a grand slam off the bat of Yermin Mercedes in the 6th inning. Chicago followed up a big 6th inning with three more runs in the 7th, defeating the Cleveland Indians by the final score of 8-3.

Logan Allen got the nod for the Indians in their sixth game of Spring Training. Allen had a strong outing, tossing two full innings giving up 0 hits, striking out two and walking three. Cleveland right hander Jared Robinson gave up four runs while only being able to muster two outs. White Sox lefty Jacob Lindgren recorded his first win of the spring, throwing one inning and giving up one lone hit.

The Cleveland Indians will take on the Oakland Athletics in a traditional double-header on Saturday afternoon. First pitch in game one is set for 3:05 pm ET at HoHoKam Stadium in Mesa, AZ. Check out Franmil Reyes' home run below!
