Cleveland FBI, North Royalton Police Searching For Bank Robber

North Royalton - North Royalton Police and The Cleveland Division of the FBI searching for a suspect in a robbery Wednesday afternoon.

Authorities say on February 19th at 3:11pm, an unknown male robbed the Huntington Bank inside the Giant Eagle grocery store located at 6000 Royalton Road.

The unknown suspect approached the teller and held up a demand note. Written in black on a full sheet of lined paper, which appeared to have been torn from a spiral notebook was, "100s and 50s". The unknown suspect stated "give me all the money. If you do anything I'll shoot you". The teller complied with the demand and provided the unknown suspect an undisclosed amount of currency. As the suspect left he said "don't call anyone, don't do anything, if you do I'll come back and shoot".

No physical injuries were reported.

The unknown suspect exited Giant Eagle and entered a silver four door sedan with a large dent on the driver's side. The vehicle left the scene north bound on State Rd.

The unknown suspect is described as a black male in his teens to early 20s, approximately 5'05", thin build, wearing black hooded sweatshirt with Adidas written in white down the left arm, black Jean's, and black shoes.

Tips can be provided to the North Royalton Police Department, the Cleveland Division of the FBI or Crime Stoppers and can remain anonymous. 

Reward money is available for information leading to the successful identification and prosecution of the individual responsible.
