August 28, 2019 Disorderly Conduct, Fairview Village Apartments 0443hrs.
Officers went to the third floor laundry room of 20110 Lorain Road on the report of a female sleeping inside. Upon arrival they found 43 year old Westlake women asleep on the floor in a utility room inside the laundry area. She was barefoot and exhibited signs of intoxication. Two half full cans of beer were next to her. It was learned she was possibly visiting a male friend in the building but due to her intoxication she was unable to relay which apartment. She was arrested and taken to the police station where she was issued a minor misdemeanor citation for Disorderly Conduct by Intoxication. She was held until sober and released.
August 28, 2019 Theft and Drug Law Violations, Westgate 1542hrs.
Kohls’ loss prevention officer observed two adult males. One 37 year old male in a wheel chair another 40 year old male, from Lorain, Ohio conceal Nike and Adidas items on their person then leave the store. The men joined a third 39 year old Lorain man in a vehicle and drove away. The car was pulled over at the intersection of W. 210 St. and Center Ridge Road. Inside the car stolen merchandise was recovered along with drug paraphernalia. During a search incident to arrest the 37 year old was found to be in possession of suspected heroin and plyers to remove sensors from clothing. All three males were arrested on Theft, Receiving Stolen Property, Possession of Criminal Tools and Drug Law Violations.
August 29, 2019 Disorderly Conduct, 19465 Lorain Road 2257hrs.
The Police were dispatched to the area on the report of an intoxicated male lying on the ground. When they arrived they found a 46 year old Cleveland resident lying next to his bicycle on the lawn. Officers woke him up. He smelled of alcohol and had very poor balance. He admitted to consuming alcohol that evening. The male told officers he had no place to stay and no one to take responsibility for him. . He was arrested and taken to the police station where he was issued a minor misdemeanor citation for Disorderly Conduct by Intoxication. He was held until sober and released with his bicycle.
September 1, 2019 Breaking and Entering, Mastick Road 1755hrs.
A Mastick Road resident reported the theft of numerous older hand tools from a detached garage at the Old Orchard Condominium complex.The theft had occurred sometime in the three weeks prior to the report. The garage is shared by multiple tenants. Officers are currently investigating.
