FBI, Others Arrest 18-Year-Old Found With 25 Guns And 10,000 Rounds Of Ammo

Boardman - The Federal Bureau of Investigation, Cleveland Division, Youngstown Resident Agency, Boardman Police Department, and the United States Attorney’s Office, Northern District of Ohio have announced the arrest of 18-year-old Justin Olsen.

The Boardman, Ohio native was taken into custody for threatening to assault a federal law enforcement officer.

Olsen was taken into custody last Wednesday, August 7th, without incident at his father’s residence on local charges.

Olsen had reportedly went online and during a group discussion about mass shootings threatened officers. He would later have his car and bedroom searched, which turned up 15 rifles and shotguns, 10 semi-automatic pistols and over 10,000 rounds of ammunition.

August 12th, Olsen was transferred into federal custody and remained in custody after his initial appearance in U.S. Magistrate Judge George J. Limbert’s courtroom.Olsen will have a detention hearing on Friday, August 16th at 3pm.
