2019 MLB All-Star Celebrity Softball Game Participants Announced

Cleveland - Major League Baseball today announced the list of celebrities scheduled to participate in the All-Star Celebrity Softball Game on Sunday, July 7 at Progressive Field. This year’s game pits “Cleveland vs. The World” in a showdown of stars from movies, television, music and sports. Participants scheduled to appear include:

Johnny Bananas – MTV Challenge

Stephanie Beatriz – Actress, Brooklyn 99

Simone Biles – Olympic Gold Medalist

Drew Carey – Comedian

Priah Ferguson – Actress, Stranger Things

Jennie Finch – Softball Olympian

Jamie Foxx – Academy Award-winning actor

Max Greenfield – Actor, New Girl

Travis Kelce – KC Chiefs Tight End

Machine Gun Kelly – Musician/Actor

Allie LaForce – Turner Sports broadcaster

Jerry Lorenzo - Fashion/Sneaker Designer

Anthony Mackie – Actor, Avengers

Stipe Miocic – MMA Fighter

Mike “The Miz” Mizanin – WWE superstar (Reigning MLB Celebrity Softball MVP)

Dascha Polanco – Actress, Orange is the New Black

Dr. Oz – Television Host

Quincy – Actor, Star

Scott Rogowsky – Comedian & DAZN Host

J.R. Smith – Cleveland Cavalier

Colton Underwood – Former NFLer & TV Personality

Daddy Yankee – Reggaeton recording artist

Former MLB stars scheduled to participate include Hall of Famer and MLB Network analyst Jim Thome, six-time All-Star Kenny Lofton, three-time All-Star Carlos Baerga, three-time All-Star and World Series Champion Ryan Howard and former Indians Mike Napoli and Travis Hafner.

As previously announced, gates open at 3:00 p.m. on All-Star Sunday with first pitch of the All-Star Celebrity Softball Game slated for at 5:00 p.m. Chris Rose and Kevin Millar, co-hosts of MLB Network’s “Intentional Talk” will emcee the event.

The MLB All-Star Celebrity Softball Game is the first game of a doubleheader at Progressive Field on All-Star Sunday, July 7. Following the softball game and an in-park performance from Welshly Arms, the SiriusXM All-Star Futures Game featuring the top Minor League prospects competing in a seven-inning contest, live on MLB Network, MLB.com and SiriusXM. After the Futures Game concludes, Rock & Roll Hall of Fame inductees Joan Jett & the Blackhearts will perform a special set that includes the iconic rock classic “I Love Rock ‘N’ Roll.”

To cap off All-Star Sunday, fans in attendance will experience the “All-Star Rock N’ Blast,” a special adaptation of the Indians award-winning annual fireworks and multimedia show.

The MLB All-Star Celebrity Softball Game will air Monday, July 8 on ESPN following coverage of the T-Mobile Home Run Derby.
