Rocky River Police Blotter: Turfed Lawns, Car Break-ins & Drunks

  • On 04/02/2019 at about 8:40 AM an East Shoreland Dr. resident reported that his unlocked car was gone through overnight; nothing was missing and the car was not damaged. 

  • On 04/02/2019 at about 10:40 PM police responded to 19595 Detroit Rd., Subway restaurant, after a complaint that someone disposed of tires in their dumpster without permission. Ten tires were located in the dumpster. Jacob Evans, thirty-six-years-old from North Olmsted, was cited for littering. 2019-00562 Incident is attached. 

  • On 04/06/2019 at about 3:15 PM police responded to the Ruffing Montessori School 1285 Orchard Park dr. after a caller reported vehicles had turfed the lawn there. A witness pointed out one of the cars responsible and the occupant admitted to the offense, but would not indicate who else was with him. Nineteen-year-old Sereno Fricano from Rocky River was cited for reckless operation on private property and criminal damaging. 2019-00576 is attached.

  • On 04/07/2019 at about 0240 Hrs. an Uber driver reported dropping off an intoxicated male at a Detroit Rd. salon after the rider said that he lived there. The driver said she didn't feel comfortable leaving him there because he was drunk and it was clearly not his home. The man passenger was located sitting on the steps at the Salon. He had several indicators of alcohol intoxication and would answer every question with, "North Olmsted." Timothy Porubsky, forty-one-years-old from North Olmsted, was arrested for disorderly conduct while intoxicated. 2019-00581 Incident & Booking are attached to this email.
