Sammy Hagar to Play Akron Children's Hospital Benefit

(Cleveland) - The 16th annual 'Rockin' 4 Kids' concert at the Northfield Rocksino (soon to be renamed 'MGM Northfield') will be all decked out in red, as former Van Halen and Montrose singer, and primary color advocate Sammy Hagar will be headlining the show this year.

Scheduled for June 2, the show this year will again benefit the Akron Children's Hospital Showers Family Center for Childhood Cancer and Blood Disorders.

Supporting the Red Rocker will be Jim Paternik and Ides of March, who had a huge hit in the early 70s with 'Vehicle.' Paternik also founded the band 'Survivor,' and co-wrote their signature song 'Eye of the Tiger.'

Tickets for the show go on sale Friday, the 15th, and will run $109.50 to $179.50, with a special benefit VIP ticket priced at $250.00.
