February 14, 2019 Leaving The Scene of an Accident Fairview Senior Center 1046hrs.

Officers responded to the Fairview Park Senior Center at 20769 Lorain Rd. on the report of a car and fence that had been struck in the parking lot. Evidence at the scene indicated the car and fence were struck by another vehicle that left the scene. A construction worker in the area recorded the license plate of the subject vehicle. Officers found the car at a Lorain Road address where they found its 62 year old owner who admitted to the accident.

February 14, 2019 Credit Card Fraud. W. 220 St. 1611 hrs.

A Fairview Park resident's identity was compromised and her social security number information was stolen and used fraudulently.She was not out of any money but had both a department store account opened in her name and her cell phone service was briefly switched to an unknown perpetrator in California. An unknown person went to a Bed and Breakfast.in California and upgraded her cell phone account. The cell phone was switched back to her. The incident is currently under investigation.

February 15, 2019 Domestic Violence W. 212 St. 1044hrs.

Police responded to a W 212 St. address after sisters 18 at 12 reported they were assaulted by their 19 year old sister. Upon arrival officers found injuries on the 18 year old that required immediate medical attention. While investigating officers learned the 19 year old and 12 year old began arguing which lead to a physical fight which caused the 18 year old to intervene to break up the fight. During the fight the 19 year old began kicking the 18 year old who suffered an ankle injury that needed to be treated at a hospital. The 19 year old was arrested for domestic violence and remained in custody until she appeared in Rocky River Municipal Court.
