Rocky River Police Blotter: February 12th

Rocky River -

  • On Tuesday, 02/05/2019, at about 3:45 AM a Bates Rd. resident reported that a man was in the area of Detroit and Bates Rd. walking in circles and shouting obscenities. The man was identified as thirty-four-year-old David Kinder of North Royalton. He was wanted by the Cuyahoga County Sheriff's Office and in possession of drug paraphernalia.

  • On 02/05/2019 at about 10:15 AM a man reported that his Hyundai was stolen from the parking lot at Joe's Deli 19215 Hilliard Blvd. between about 8:00 and 10:15 AM. The keys were in the vehicle and the doors unlocked at the time of the theft. It was recovered on 02/06/2019 at about 3:00 AM and an arrest was made by Beachwood Police. The vehicle was returned to its owner. 

  • On 02/08/2019 at about 5:20 PM staff at Spremulli Tire 19548 Detroit Rd. reported that two men in their early twenties put two Goodyear Weather Tec tires valued at about $135 each into an older two door Dodge and fled towards Lakewood. Police are investigating.

  • On 02/09/2019 at about 8:40 PM police responded to a South Hampton Pkwy residence after receiving an alarm there. Officer discovered a broken glass patio door and determined the home had been burglarized. At the time of the report, it was not determined if any items were missing from the house. The report was turned over to the Detective Bureau.
