CONNEAUT - A Conneaut City Councilman has been arrested on over 2-dozen sex charges.
63-year old Phillip Garcia was arrested Tuesday night by Ashtabula County Sheriff's deputies.
Garcia faces a total of 26 counts including rape, compelling prostitution, unlawful sexual contact with a minor and corruption of a minor.
Ashtabula County Sheriff Bill Johnson says they'd been investigating Garcia for two to three months.
He's currently behind bars in the county jail.
