Indians Blanked By Rangers; Tribe Still Takes Two Of Three

(Arlington, TX)  --  Rougned Odor drove in three runs in 108-degree heat as the Rangers blanked the Indians 5-0 in Arlington.  Odor finished with three hits and a homer for Texas.

Ryan Rua added a two-run shot and Yovani Gallardo gave up three hits over six shutout innings to earn the win.  The Rangers prevented the three-game sweep at home and ended a four-game slide.

Mike Clevinger pitched into the seventh but took the tough loss for Cleveland.  The Tribe finished 0-for-7 with runners in scoring position.

The first-place Indians still own a nine-and-a-half game lead in the AL Central.

Monday night, the Tribe is back home for a three-game interleague series with the Pittsburgh Pirates.  Corey Kluber starts for the Indians, and Trevor Williams for the Bucs.  First pitch at 7:10 p.m. on WTAM 1100 and 100.7 WMMS.
