Rocky River Police Blotter: Stolen Seafood

  • On 06/13/2018 at about 6:45 PM police went to Giant Eagle 22160 Center Ridge Rd. after a report that a shoplifter was being detained. Store security told police that Kristina Foster, a 34-year-old Rocky River woman, was seen concealing items in her purse. She was detained after she left the store without paying for over $55 in seafood. 
  • On 06/14/2018 at about 11:20 PM a patrol officer saw a car pull off to the side of the road on Center Ridge at Glenbar and the driver vomit outside the car. The officer identified the driver, who said he had too much to drink while at the theater. After a series of field sobriety tests, Darren Ting, a 25-year-old Cleveland Hts. man, was arrested for drunk driving. 
  • On 06/16/2018 at about 11:20 AM a motorist failed to stop for a speeding violation after police activated overhead lights and sirens. The car went through several red lights on Westway before losing control of the vehicle near 20555 Westway. The driver, Napoleon Williams, 24-years-old from Cleveland, was arrested for Driving Under Suspension and Failure to Comply. Several passengers in the vehicle were released without being charged.
