Westlake Police searching for bank scammers

Westlake bank scammers (WPD)

(westlake) - On April 25, 2018 at 1:47PM, WPD received a call from a bank at Crocker and Detroit Rds reporting a theft that had occurred approx. an hour earlier. 

Two suspects had entered the bank and scammed a teller out of an undisclosed amount of cash by using a quick change scam.

The witnesses described the female suspect as a middle-aged/older female who may be Hispanic, Italian, or Middle-Eastern. 

She had dark features (brown hair, brown eyes, and olive skin), was short in height (approximately 5 foot tall), and weighed around 150 pounds. 

The suspect was wearing a white and black shirt with a coat (unknown color). The male had similar dark features, appeared to be approximately 20 years old, 5'8" in height, and thinly built. He was wearing dark colored clothing.
