(Cleveland) - Cleveland Police are looking for the driver of a car whose car smashed into a zone car late Tuesday night.
Police say it happened at East 138 and Miles Avenue. The zone car was westbound on Miles. A 2005 Chevy Malibu was eastbound on Miles. Another car, going eastbound, was stopped to turn left at East 138. The Chevy drove to the right of the stopped car, then went out of control, crossed over the centerline, spun around, and hit the zone car, which was slammed into a utility pole.
The driver of the Chevy, identified as Ernest D. Jones, ran off and has yet to be found.
The two officers in the zone car were treated and released at the hospital, while two passengers in the Chevy had only minor injuries.
