Parma Police Arrest Woman Who Tried To Run Over Detectives

CLEVELAND - Parma Police have arrested a woman who, they say, tried to run over two Narcotics Unit detectives.

25 year-old Chelsea Alexander turned herself into Parma authorities Thursday. appearing in court this morning, her bond was set at $100,000.

According to police, on the morning of March 23rd, Parma detectives noticed Alexander in a car with a male suspect wanted on an arrest warrant. When the detectives approached the vehicle, Alexander put the car in reverse nearly striking one of them and then, accelerating forward, narrowly missed the other.

She then led Parma police on a brief chase, that they called off.

The male suspect, Antonio Dionte Boddy is wanted by multiple law enforcement agencies.  Anyone with information on Boddy is asked to contact the northern Ohio Violent Fugitive Task Force at 1-866-4WANTED or text the keyword WANTED and tip to 847411 (tip 411).

Tipsters can remain anonymous and a reward is being offered.
